Daytona Beach, Florida
This is not a "static" webcam stuck on a building. Henry's Roving WebCam will show you bikers, bikes and places up-close and all over town.
During Bike Week and Biketoberfest, Henry runs all over the Daytona Beach area digitally photographing all the biker festivities that he can. Those digital photos are made into slide shows. These slide shows are called Henry's Roving WebCam (a new picture every 15 seconds).

When you're in Daytona Beach for Bike Week or Biketoberfest, look for Henry on the streets. Say hello and ask to be on Henry's Roving WebCam. If you see yourself or someone you know on the webcam... e-mail Henry and let him know.
Every year people ask where I will be so they can get their picture on the webcam. Starting 2002, I decided I would make it easier for people to find me, so I decided to stand across the street in front of BootHill Saloon on Main Street. Everyone knows where that is and it makes a great photo background. Look for me there every Biketoberfest and Bike Week.

Today, the weather was beautiful so I went to the River Front Park on Beach Street (across the street from Harley-Davidson dealership). At the park, I met and photographed the famous Vinnie and Cody (previously worked at Orange County Choppers) that had a tent setup to reveal their new custom bike building business called VForceCustoms.com. They will have one of their custom bikes there for everyone to see tomorrow. It will be raffeled off for FREE (just enter to win) next year during BikeWeek 2009.
I also snapped photos of Tom Cellie and his band playing on a great looking stage setup in the park. Lots of great food vendors.

Another beautiful Spring-like day. It's a very comfortable 70ish° F. with blue skies and scattered clouds. Plenty of sun. Today I see MANY MORE bikers in town, traffic overnight became very heavy. People at every location in town. International Speedway Blvd. from I-95 to the beachside looks like a parking lot with thousands of bikers heading to the beachside and all other points in Daytona Beach.
I went back to Beach Front Park, across from H-D dealership on Beach Street again today to photograph the “Inaugural Bike" called V Force 1 that Vinnie and Cody of VForcecustoms.com revealed for the first time today at 12 noon. There was a very long line of people waiting patiently to meet Vinnie and Cody, get an autograph and picture with them and to fill out a "FREE" raffle ticket. Vinnie and Cody are fraffleing off the first custom bike that they created in their new business venture together. Their custom bike looks very low and rideable, no radical rake or extened frontend. I love the way the large rear tire is not totally covered with fender. The bike has a short rear fender, with a low cradled solo seat and comfortable straight reach bars (no ape hangers). I filled out a raffle ticket and I'd be very proud to be the new owner of the VForce 1 come BikeWeek 2009. I got my fingers crossed.
I took a break to have a bite to eat at a street vendor across the side street from H-D dealership. I had a little conversation with the guy cooking my burger. He said his name was Joe Pancake, I said, "yeah right." He said, "really, that's the name I was born with." I never met or even heard of someone with a birthname of "pancake". A few minutes later, he came to the table where I was eating my burger and said, "look man I'm not fooling you" and then he rolled up his pant leg to show me a tattoo of a stack of pancakes on his leg. Well, you just never know. It's a big, big world.

It's warm and the sky is blue, not a cloud in the sky. Just another wonderful day in Florida. Excellent riding weather.
Today, I was on Main Street between Froggy's and BootHill Saloon. Main Street was crowded. The bikers are here in massive numbers. Escaping the cold of the north. It seems that about every 10th biker was wearing one of those scull face masks. I've never seen so many. I got some great babe shots of the girls working (selling beer) just off the sidewalk at the property just east of BootHill Saloon. I caught a shot of the olive green Army bike that was made by OCC (Orange County Chopper), complete with handgrenades, 50cal bullets, rifle, walkie talkie, etc. It had tank-like angles. Everyone's eyes were popping out, looking at it. You'll see pictures of it, the babes and plenty other bikers and bikes that I shot on Main Street.

Weather? Just another day in paradise. Today, was another blue sky day in the low 80° range.
The bad news: in the last 4 days of BikeWeek, 5 bikers have been killed. Please ride safely.
Today, I went to Destination Daytona. That property looks like a 150 acre biker city and it is still growing... it's huge. It looks like an amusement park for bikers. It has resturants, plenty of vendors selling every kind of biker item you can think of, a bar that is open till 2AM. The buildings on the property are all 3 stories tall. The 1st floor is retail stores and the 2nd and 3rd floors are condos. Wow, what a concept, you can live there. I strolled inside the 35,000 sq. ft. pavilion sponsored by Coka-Cola... looks like it will have concerts there in the future..

No pictures today...... it rained.
Today the weather was windy and overcast looking like it was going to rain any minute. Then, in the afternoon it did rain.
I didn't get any photos today, but I did drive my car down Main Street. I want to point out that although there is a great many places to go all over Daytona Beach and surrounding areas during BikeWeek, Main Street is still "THE HEART" of BikeWeek. Over on Beach Street, because of the rain and night-time approching, most places were shutting down, but not on Main Street. On Main Street it was "going on" with all vendors open, all bars and food places serving, multiple bands playing and gobs of bikers and bikes all up and down the street even though it had just rained and night-time was at hand. I love Main Street, even with all the problems that it has, it is still the best BikeWeek experience and a must see. Did I mention, "I love Main Street"!

Waaaa whooooo.... The weather is back to beautiful today. Warm with just scattered clouds. Another great day for BikeWeek.
Today, I spent a short time on Beach Street next to the Harley-Davidson dealership. I couldn't spent too long on the street because I had a doctor appointment I had to go to.

Went to Main Street Station and BootHill Saloon area on Main Street. This area is hard to beat. At Main Street Station from 4 - 8PM there was a, very entertaining, 2 piece band called Krackers. There was some great looking girls selling beer out near the sidewalk. One of the girls got arrested for exposure. Oh, oh. I believe that Main Street is so popular that, if you stand on the sidewalk long enough you will see every bike and biker that comes to BikeWeek. I think Main Street, which is only ¼ mile long (river to ocean), is my favorite BikeWeek area. However, my other favorites are Iron Horse Saloon and Broken Spoke Saloon and I think I will like Destination Daytona in the future when it gets more developed.

NO PHOTOS TODAY. A large rain, thunder and lightning storm passed through in the evening, dumping a record 1.7" of rain on Daytona Beach. I stayed home and reported the weather here on this website. I was at Broken Spoke Saloon all evening. During the concert, I was suppose to do LIVE updates to this report, but I couldn't log-on to a broadband connection with my computer. There was a large crowd of leather clad bikers and Bellamy Brother's fans. All the bands put on a great concert. Jay Allen, owner of Broken Spoke Saloon was his usual excellent host and MC. That man knows everything about older Harleys. He's a walking encyclopedia of old Harley and Indian facts, parts, motors and company info. Wink the sound man, operated his powerful 40,000 watt, 12' tall sound system. And the lovely bar girls were dancing for all to enjoy. A fun time was had by all. When the concert ended, the temperature turned pretty darn chilly.

I hope you saw Henry on TV. Henry was on 2 TV shows back to back on TLC (The Learning Channel) May 13, 2004 at 9PM in a show called "Daytona Motorcycle Madness" and then again at 10PM EST on a TV show called "Biker Girls; Born To Be Wild". Sasha is one of the hosts of the "Biker Girls" TV show and she named Henry Jordan the "Mayor Of Bike Week" (Daytona Beach BikeWeek).

Today marks the 63rd Anniversary of Bike Week
    (1) weather | (2) Beach Street | (3) Main Street |
    (4) Main Street Bridge | (5) Wreck Bar | (6) Nancy Majik at Barney's Leathers
Today, starting at 5pm was the first day of Bike Week 2004. The weather was cold and cloudy but... there was not a drop of rain. It was a great day for your warmest leathers. Bike Week is off to a great start.

    Saturday
    2/28/04
    (1) weather | (2) Piccadilly | (3) Chrome-A-Lot |
It is chilly today, but still is about 10 degrees warmer than yesterday. Yesterday was downright C-O-L-D. Too cold for me. What can I say, I'm a Florida boy that wears shorts year round. That's right... even when it is cold. The sky was clear today and the best part... NO RAIN. Anybody remember 2003 when it rained 8 out of 10 days of BIke Week. OK forget that. Now, lets start warming things up and start having some Bike Week fun.

    Sunday
    2/29/04
    (1) weather
    (2) Dean Lemley and his Orange County Chopper
    (3) corner of Main & Beach Street
Today the weather was realy NICE. It was just barely cool and just right for riding. There's lots of bikers in town and a lot of large companies setting up truck trailer rigs and huge tents displaying all their wares. I see many new faces. Harley-Davidson didn't leave Beach Street and go north to Ormond as was feared last year. They did buy the property in Ormond but there was not a sign or anything saying that they were there??? They have the money. They can go where they want and believe me it will be where the money is. They are all about the money. There is a lot of competition and more coming every year... can you say OCC and Discovery Channel? Paul and Paul have a great thing going on there with their beautiful choppers. Hey did you see their commerical on AOL? Those guys are funny. I like'em and I like their bikes. Anybody going to buy one of my 14k gold motorcycles that I am currently making? You'll see them when I complete them and post them on the Internet.

No, I am not looking at my e-mail until after BIke Week... I'm currently receiving too much e-mail to respond to it all. If you want to contact me you must call me on the phone at 386-253-1904 or 386-451-0502. In a few days I'll be showing some 14k gold motorcycle jewelry that I am designing. What is motorcycle jewelry? Well you send me a photo of a motorcycle and I make a miniture look alike piece of jewelry of it (pendant, ring... you name it, I make it in gold or sterling silver and set diamonds in it). I'm a jewelry designer/builder. I've been doing the jewelry thing for 25 years now. I'm pretty darn good at it... no brag, just fact. Anyway... goodnight. I'll be back to this tomorrow. And my new TLC TV show will be showing in May 2004. Catch up with me on Main Street in front of BootHill Saloon this week. I'm usually there just before sundown. Out in the street taking pictures of people on their bikes as they cruise by. Damn, I'm having fun.
I'm currently out collecting pictures and info. Please check back daily to see the latest pictures and info. I'm VERY busy for the next 10 days so it will be unlikely that I will find your e-mail in the thousands that I receive daily. Please wait till after Bike Week to call or e-mail me. Henry Jordan will be appearing in a new TV show about BIke Week that will air on (TLC) The Learning Channel in May (I'll post the exact date when I find out). BikeWeekReport.com will be going through a lot of improvements and expansion in the next few months that will be very rewarding for BWR's advertisers and audience. I am very excited about all the new improvements to come.

    Bike Parade ends Bike Week.

    TV shows Henry appears in:
    (1) Daytona Motorcycle Madness - 2000 - TLC (The Learning Channel)
    (2) Great Rides: Daytona - 2002 - The Travel Channel
    (3) in production now -2003 - TLC (The Learning Channel)

Henry has been featured in a TLC or Travel Channel Bike Week TV show every year, for the last 3 years:
The Learing Channel filmed Henry today to be featured in his 3rd TLC TV show which will air in the Spring of 2004. It takes TV show producers at least 6 months to one year to complete production and then air these shows. Then they will air again and again during the years to come. In the show, Sasha, one of the stars of the show, introduces Henry as the Bike Week Mayor because he knows so much about Bike Week and is in touch with everyone on the Internet around the world. See pictures of the show's stars and producers on Wednesday & Thursday's webcam shots.
Henry is the Alfred Hitchcock * of Bike Week TV shows.

    * A bit of trivia... "Alfred Hitchcock, a movie director from 1925 - 1976, always made a cameo appearance in his movies". He directed and made a brief appearance in some very famous classic movies like: Psycho, The Birds and Vertigo. And so far, Henry has made an appearance in the last 3 shows filmed about Daytona Bike Week on TLC (The Learning Channel) or The Travel Channel which are both owned by Discovery Channel. Because of the TV shows and 10 years of website operation, many people recognize and stop Henry to say hello, as he walks the streets during Bike Week.

Today was the first day of Biketoberfest and the weather was absolutely beautiful. I failed to get any pictures today :-(

    Friday
    10/17/03
    (1) weather | (2) Harley-Davidson dealership Beach Street | (3) Harley Hummer | (4) Uncle Sam | (5) Dyno Drag | (6) Carls Speed Shop
All the above pictures were taken on Beach Street near the Harley-Davidson dealership. This is the largest Biketoberfest that I have seen in years. I guess the bikers are making up for Bike Week 2003 that rained 8 out of 10 days. Today was cloudy, which made it warm instead of HOT. The weather was nice.

    Saturday
    10/18/03
    Coming...
Main Street, Paul Jr & Sr Teutel of Orange County Choppers, Indian Larry, Wreck Bar and Boothill Saloon area. The weather was beautiful today... warm and blue skies. I'm not kidding, this is the biggest Biketoberfest and it seems every bit as crowded with the same attentance of Bike Week. Unbelievable... Please check back...

is the 62nd Anniversary of Bike Week
    (1) rainy weather | (2) rain stopped | (3) HD dealership on Beach Street
Everyone stayed in their motel room as it rained most of the day. Then, at 4PM the rain stopped to allow Bike Week to begin. The day comes to life as I hear the cranking and roar of Harleys all over town. Henry's Roving WebCam stayed at Harley-Davidson dealership on Beach Street. The sky remained very cloudy, but no rain, for the rest of the day and night.

You know what it looks like.

    Tuesday
    3/4/03
it's very cloudy, (1) see weather report, and rained off and on all afternoon, but it's nice and WARM. At about 8:30 it rained hard then stopped about midnight. This is (2) what I saw on Main St. near Boothill Saloon between rain showers

    Wednesday
    3/5/03
Today is beautiful, (1) see weather report, the sun is out and it is nice and warm.... can you say 80°. The Learning Channel (TLC) caught up with me today. They filmed me in the middle of Main Street in front of The Wreck (where Jesse James is set up). I was interviewed by the two beautiful stars of the show, (2) Sasha "BikerLady.com" and Vicky "sport bike racer". I will be a feature in their new Bike Week TV show that will air sometime around July '03.. This will be my 3rd appearance on a TLC (The Learning Channel) or Travel Channel TV show in the last 3 years. I'm kind of like Alfred Hitchcock* of Bike Week TV shows. I then spent the rest of the afternoon on (3) Main Street in front of Boothill Saloon. Many people stop and say hello that recognize me from this website or the TV shows.
    * For those of you that don't know who Alfred Hitchcock was or know this bit of trivia about him... "he made a cameo appearance in every movie that he directed". And so far, I have appeared in the last 3 shows filmed about Daytona Bike Week on TLC (The Learning Channel) or The Travel Channel which are both owned by Discovery Channel.

    Thursday

Today, the weather is a beautiful sunny day with scattered clouds and the temperature is 86° (1) see weather report. I went to Bikers Paradise, located at the New Smyrna Speedway. By the time I got home it was late and I worked until 2:30am tring to get images posted but I kept falling asleep, so I went to bed. I am now (Friday 3PM), working on posting the BP images.

    CONCERT at Bikers Paradise:
Blue Oyster Cult.played starting at 9PM. They always draw a crowd and put on a good show, played new studio songs as well as their classic tunes from the early 1970's. The real story was the band that is playing every day at BP until March 8. They are a band called Amulette from Tampa, Florida that played excellent classic rock music. I talked with 2 of the band members, Bruce Miller (vocals) and Larry King (drummer). They were a great group of guys really enjoying playing for the bikers at Bikers Paradise.
More images will be posted soon (if I can ever get the time)...
Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday's webcam images will be posted as soon as I can. I didn't get to bed until 3 or 5 AM most every night during Bike Week producing this webcam. And, I fell behind. I am sorry. I spent 11 days away from my business (jewelry store), wife and fifteen month old baby boy. So, I'm trying to catch up with everything and that includes this webcam. Yes, I do need help but I can't afford it. It cost me dearly to do what I do and I can't afford to pay someone else at this time. Hopefully when more advertisers and sales occur I will be able to pay someone to help me keep this all up to date. But, until then, I just do what I can do by working 12 - 14 hours per day, 7 days a week before and during Bike Week.

It rained hard on and off all day. The temperature dropped from the 80's down to the upper 60's. At 4pm the Weather Channel even posted a SEVERE WEATHER ALERT until 6PM. I went to the HD dealership on Beach Street. Many people stopped me saying they recognized me from this website or the TV shows. Between waves of rain, I got pictures that will be posted later. All the bikers are still making the best of it. As soon as the rain stops, the streets are filled with bikers going like nothing happened. It doesn't seem to hinder too much except when it is in the process of raining. A lot of the outside venues are suffering from the rain. Even after it stops raining, their property is still wet or muddy. I feel bad for all the vendors that have to be setup outside in the rain. They pay a lot of money to be here. It stopped raining at about 8PM and didn't rain the rest of the night. I don't get as many good webcam photos at night, but I stayed and did it anyway. I then went to Main Street, first stop was The Wreck, on the river, where many people again recognized me and they will be in the webcam pictures.

    E-mail me:
    HenryJordan@BikeWeekReport.com
and tell me you are enjoying it, and tell your friends too.

On Wednesday, I asked all you webcam watchers to e-mail me and you did... I got FLOODED WITH E-MAIL.... TOO MANY TO ANSWER. I answered hundreds of e-mails then looked at how many more I had to answer... and there is hundreds or thousands more to go. I replyed to e-mails till 5:30AM and couldn't answer any more, I had to go to bed. Keep sending them but please don't be upget at me if I can't promptly reply. I will reply to each and every one, but it's going to take me some time. I don't know how many thousand e-mails I have received since Bike Week began. But keep them coming.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU..
